The body is made up of Solid Mahogany back and sides, and it sets itself apart through its unique Dreadnought shape and Concert Hall depth. Dressing the body is a mesmerizing Laguna Blue gloss top made of Solid Sitka Spruce. In terms of playing, your left hand will feel right at home on the rich Mahogany neck, which is topped off by a smooth Richlite fretboard. I custom ordered the Imperial and stressed, I have to have it. Is this a solid color or a blue burst? All pictures on Godin and Sweetwater websites show this guitar as a beautiful solid color. It is not, but in fact it’s a blue burst. The guitars plays great and sounds great. It’s a pro model. Since it’s a custom order, I can’t return it. I feel I should receive what my sales rep told me for the money I spent. He was puzzled to, as the website pictures do not reflect the true color. If you’re going to purchase, ask for actual color representation. If color had been exact, I’d give it 5 *.
