The Acousitc Solutions ASG-8 is a newly redesigned acoustic amplifier and it was developed with the performing singer-songwriter and acoustic musician in mind. What makes this amplifier really special is that it was designed to sound pristinely clean with a relatively flat yet very natural response, which is ideal for various acoustic instruments as well as clear and dynamic vocals. The ASG-8 also provides a convenient AUX input to play backing tracks from your smartphone or laptop, which can also be played though the easy Bluetooth connectivity of the amp. The ASG-8 is light and portable, but it still packs a lot of punch and power in a compact cabinet with 120 Watts of power and includes an 8” Woofer and a 1” Tweeter.

Have owned this amp for almost 1.5 years. Nice that it’s 2 channel as I use this for guitar lessons with students. Also used as a bass amp with my fretless for practice at home. Seems a bit temperamental with power drop outs, but overall solid.

I use this with Martin guitars with built-in electronics. The sound is very accurate and transparent, and the Martins sound like they should, only louder with some EQ and reverb. This is my choice for all acoustic amplification, even low-volume home practice.
