The Multiac Grand Concert SA features pristine-sounding electronics by LR Baggs. Similarly to other Multiac Grand Concert models, the guitar’s design unites a larger body with a Solid Cedar top and a neck that joins the body at the twelfth fret. The 2″ nut width is slightly larger than the standard Multiac and more typical of the classical tradition. The result is the ultimate guitar for classical players who require an amplified sound.

  1. Good!

  2. Hello. I bought a Multiac Grand Concert SA Natural HG guitar from you and I have a question for you. If I glue a thin transparent pickguard, how much will it affect the sound of the guitar?

  3. Hello,

Thank you for purchasing the Multiac Grand Concert SA Natural HG!

It is possible to attach a thin transparent pickguard to your guitar. However, please keep in mind that the top of the guitar plays a significant role in sound production. Even a thin layer, such as a pickguard, can affect the way the top vibrates, potentially altering the tone slightly. You might notice subtle changes in the guitar’s resonance, sustain, or responsiveness.

If you choose to proceed, make sure the pickguard is applied carefully with a non-permanent adhesive, in case you decide to remove it later. This will help minimize any long-term impact on the finish or tone.

Let us know if you have any further questions or need recommendations!

    Best regards,
