2 reviews for Session HT Aztek Red MN

  1. The best guitar I’ve ever owned, hands down.

  2. I set aside quite a bit of time to play a few guitars at my local shop. Immediately I ruled out two guitars and it came down to the Godin Session HT or the Fender Player Plus Strat.

The difference in weight was significant. The Godin was much lighter. It was also far more resonant unplugged. The fret edges were nicely finished. No fret sprout either. The heel carve is an added bonus for reaching the 22nd fret with ease.

Other than the weight, there was nothing wrong with the other guitar but the Godin felt like a step up in quality. In fact, it feels like a more expensive guitar.

The only thing left was colour. Arctik Blue or Aztec Red. The Aztec Red was the winner.
