This is a really beautiful guitar. It’s also great to play and has the potential for great tones. The neck is fantastic. I tried it with flat wounds and went back to regular strings. It’s a little muted acoustically, but can go from clean to super dirty plugged in. I really like it.

I’ve been playing one of these for a bit over a year now, and I love it. This guitar is a joy to play, very well-made, gorgeous to look at, and stays in tune well. Its voice is unique; this guitar does not sound “just like” any other. To my ears, it combines the warmth and richness of a good jazz box with some of the brilliance and clarity of a steel-string acoustic. It’s a lovely, musically-useful tone across many genres, and it responds well to changing plucking-hand position, making it surprisingly versatile for a single-pickup guitar. I highly recommend it.
