Introducing the Montreal Premiere Pro Arctik Blue—a feature-rich, lively, and versatile guitar for jazz, blues, and rock players alike! The Montreal Première features an innovative and uniquely sculpted center block, allowing the body to resonate like no other guitar in its class! The Montreal Premiere Pro models boast pickups usually only found in custom shop guitars. The Arctik Blue version is equipped with a pair of made-in-the-USA Seymour Duncan pickups. At the neck, the Seymour Duncan Antiquity provides a rich, articulate, sweet treble attack with a warm, full sounding low-end, serving up the elusive tone of a vintage P.A.F. un-potted humbucker. At the bridge, the ever-popular Seymour Duncan JB delivers high gain for full low-end crunch and crisp, powerful vocal-like highs, sought after by guitarists of all genres for decades. Both are controlled by a 3-way switch and volume and tone knobs. Made in Canada, the Montreal Première Pro Arctik Blue is perfectly complemented by a Tune-o-matic style bridge with a brass tailpiece for optimal sustain and precise tuning.

Dr Carl –
All I can say is WOW! I own over 30 guitars, mostly Gibson, FGN, Edwards & Godin. I adore set neck guitars with a maple fret board, and I have this covered in an LP style with an FGN EFL (Expert Flame) DE (Dark Evolution). But I also craved a big set neck hollow body with a maple fret board, and after a thorough search the Godin Montreal seemed to be only big set neck hollow body with a maple fret board on the market, so I picked one up. It’s an absolutely incredible guitar, and I have been playing it non-stop since I got it. It breathes unlike any other guitar I own (which includes a beautiful FGN Masterfield P90)…it almost seems alive! Before getting it I was worried it might not cut it for the classic rock & hard rock I play, but it absolutely slays it all. I was also worried I would not like the JB in the bridge, as I prefer vintage wound Alnico 2 pups. But the JB in the bridge meshes PERFECTLY with this guitar. The quality of the build is extraordinary…fantastic attention to detail. The only improvement I could suggest is to provide it with locking tuners, and also possibly p/p pots to split the humbucker coils. Related to the latter, I like this guitar so much I may have to buy a red one with the maple board and the SD P-Rails to be able to get P90 and single coil tones. Lastly, I would like to say that I can really tell that this company is run by a great guitarist that absolutely knows what serious guitarists are looking for in their instruments. Great job, Godin! You are the only company in the world offering a big set hollow body with a maple board, and I can’t imagine a better implementation.
