Excellent guitar. This was the second Godin I purchased. I bought it specifically because I wanted a wild cherry backed guitar. I played a few guitars using this wood and was pleased with what I heard. I couldn’t believe the snappy sound three plies of wild cherry produced.
The Arena body is thin and handy. I have a bunch of guitars but I play this guitar every day.
In my experience, Godin guitars get better with age.

Life saver! I basically stopped playing classical guitar after over 40 years of playing because of back and neck problem. Being a small man, the regular size of classical guitars were not tolerable anymore. But, when I tried this guitar in my local store, I hesitated a bit, but bought it the next day. Have been playing this guitar since without any pain. I’m so glad Godin has made a thinner classical guitar. It saved my life and sanity. On top of that, the guitar is very easy to play (not as hard as regular classical guitars) and the neck being more wide as an acoustic guitar, all is easier to play. The sound is great, considering the case body is thinner. I’m thrilled with this guitar.

This is an amazing guitar! I wanted a nylon string guitar that was easy to play because I have bad arthritis in both hands. Much to my detriment I cannot put this instrument down. I’ll play for hours on end. I’ve had to stop playing gigs because of my hands after 40 years and thousands of performances of playing jazz on a nylon string. This guitar makes me want to start up again because it sounds and feels fantastic. At this price this guitar is a steal! Phenomenal job Godin!!!!
