The Godin 5th Avenue Jumbo P-Rail Harvest Gold is one of our next-generation arch tops, based on the classic 5th Avenue we’ve become known for, with a deeper ‘Jumbo’ body depth. The new Jumbo model delivers classic vintage tone, with a sweet and mellow roundness.

Whether you play jazz, alt-country, delta blues, rock, or anything in between, the Godin 5th Avenue Jumbo P-Rail Harvest Gold is a dream to play thanks to its Canadian craftsmanship.

The Jumbo body provides plenty of projection, with its Canadian Wild Cherry archtop top, back and sides, and rustic-inspired custom polished finish. Other features include a Rosewood fingerboard, Silver Leaf Maple Neck, Graphtech Adjustable TUSQ Bridge base with T.O.M. Roller Saddles, a Bigsby Tremolo Tailpiece, and a custom-engraved headstock plate. The 24.84” scale neck offers an exceptionally comfortable feel to this guitar – delivering rich sound and great looks.

Built with the performer in mind, the 5th Avenue Jumbo P-Rail Harvest Gold provides an attitude-tinged vintage tone, courtesy of the Seymour Duncan P-Rail neck position pickup, with a volume, tone and 3-way switch for coil-split options — right at your fingertips.

From studio to stage, the 5th Avenue Jumbo P-Rail Harvest Gold is a tone-drenched guitar you won’t want to put down!

  1. Simplesmente maravilhoso! Som e beleza extraordinário! Vou trabalhar para alcançar a aquisição desta obra de arte.

  2. Absolutely an incredible guitar. Love the look and the sound both acoustically and plugged in.

  3. I have a Muti-Tac and it is an outstanding guitar I was hoping the 5th Avenue Jumbo P-Rail Harvest Gold would be the same. Over all the fit and finish of the instrument is very good and the Seymour Duncan pickup produces excellent tone. Yet there is something with off action. Out of the box it had bad fret buzz. I dialed in the setup as best I could which reduced the buzz somewhat yet without eliminating it completely. As a note, the adjusting the truss rod does practically nothing?!?! Adjusting the bridge I had get 2mm clearance at the 12th fret before the fret buzz would disappear. It feels excessive. I bought this guitar on-line based on my previous experience with the Multi-Tac. I really wish I had played the 5th Avenue before purchasing it as I now have regrets.

  4. Thank you for your feedback and for choosing another Godin guitar. We truly appreciate your trust in our instruments and are sorry to hear that your experience with the 5th Avenue Jumbo P-Rail has not met your expectations so far.

It’s important to note that wood is an organic material, and as such, it can react to changes in temperature and humidity, especially during shipping and seasonal transitions. This can sometimes affect the action and fret buzz on a new instrument. While we strive to set up every guitar optimally before it leaves our workshop, some adjustments may be necessary upon arrival to suit personal preferences and playing styles.

From what you describe, it sounds like your guitar may need a more precise setup. If the truss rod adjustments are not having the expected effect, it may be beneficial to check for any fret inconsistencies or neck relief issues. We recommend taking it to a qualified technician or luthier who can properly assess and adjust the instrument to ensure optimal playability.

Please let us know if you need guidance on setup recommendations or if you require further assistance. We want to make sure you get the best experience possible with your new guitar.

    Best regards,
