The Godin 5th Avenue Jumbo HB Memphis Sun is one of our next-generation archtops, based on the classic 5th Avenue we’ve become known for, with a deeper ‘Jumbo’ body depth. The new Jumbo model delivers classic vintage tone, with a sweet and mellow roundness.

Whether you play jazz, alt-country, delta blues, rock, or anything in between, the Godin 5th Avenue Jumbo HB Memphis Sun is a dream to play thanks to its Canadian craftsmanship.

The Jumbo body provides plenty of projection, with its Canadian Wild Cherry archtop top, back and sides and retro-inspired custom polished finish. Other features include a Rosewood fingerboard, Silver Leaf Maple Neck, Graphtech Adjustable Tusq Bridge (base) w/ T.O.M. With Roller Saddles and trapeze tailpiece and a custom-engraved headstock plate. The 24.84” scale neck offers an exceptionally comfortable feel to this guitar – delivering rich sound and great looks.

Built with the performer in mind, the 5th Avenue Jumbo HB Memphis Sun provides a diverse range of tone, courtesy of a Custom Godin Humbucker at the neck, and Seymour Duncan ’59 at the bridge, plus volume, tone and 3-way switch right at your fingertips.

From studio to stage, the 5th Avenue Jumbo HB Memphis Sun is a tone-drenched guitar you won’t want to put down!

2 reviews for 5th Avenue Jumbo HB Memphis Sun

  1. The quality of this guitar is apparent from the moment you pick it up.

  2. My second ‘5th ave’ i bought because I loved the ‘kingpin’ so much and wanted something similar but with different tone options. This guitar did the job, and quickly found its way as my #1 overtop of the kingpin. It’s a deeper body than the kingpin, considered ‘jumbo size’, neck is smooth and easy to play, again another guitar for jazz or blues. These archtops on top of sounding great, and stunning guitars, super light and easy to play.

If you’re primarily an acoustic player, like I was /am. I found the transition into playing these archtops easier Becuase the resembled acoustics so much in the feel.
