Quivers is a sales platform that drives sales to our dealer network. When endusers visit our site in Canada or USA and are ready to purchase, they can either refer to a list of authorized dealers in their area or choose to add a product to the cart. When choosing to purchase the product online on our site, Authorized dealers who participate to the Quivers program will be notified. If a participating dealer has the product in stock, they can claim the order and fullfill it..

Does Godin sell guitars direct to consumers?

Godin works with a network of authorized and knowledgeable retailers, including both brick-and-mortar and online stores. We believe in fostering organic growth online with our dealers while empowering them. To enhance your experience, we offer a 12-hour priority claiming period with your local retailer. If the order is not claimed within this timeframe, we then notify other retailers in your country for an additional 12 hours. When purchasing a guitar from us, please note that it might take up to 24 hours longer to fulfill your order. However, this process supports your local dealers and helps strengthen the community.

Why did I receive a backorder notification?

Occasionally, our products may not be available for online purchase due to high demand and multiple orders placed in a short period. If this happens, you will be notified directly on the product page before proceeding with your purchase. If you choose to proceed, please be aware that you will receive a backorder notification email 24 hours after completing the checkout process. Our system will keep your local retailer informed until your order is fulfilled. If you prefer not to wait, please contact us at service@godinguitars.com to cancel your order. Refunds will be processed and reflected in your account or original form of payment within 2 to 10 business days, depending on your bank.

Why do I see a difference in the amount authorized and the amount charged?

The Sales tax displayed in the checkout is an estimate based on your shipping location and may not match the final charge on your card. The reason being that some dealers have to pay a different tax fee based on their location. Excess sales tax charges previously authorized will be refunded automatically once the order is marked has shipped.

I contacted my bank and the authorization amount was charged but I did not receive my guitar yet.

When an order is placed, the first step is the order verification. We verify that all the payment details provided on an order are legitimate to eliminate fraudulent orders. To do so, Quivers payment processor must authorize an amount on your credit card. The next step is claiming an order and this signifies the first step in the order fulfillment process. During this process, the authorized amount on an order is captured and the customer’s card gets charged automatically sometimes before an order is marked as shipped. The reason for this is that every credit card issuer has a different policy but for the maximum number of days of a hold to expire is set by your card network.

What happens if I am not satisfied with the guitar?

If you are not satisfied with the guitar after it has shipped, you must contact your dealer. The Dealer must fully refund the guitar within thirty (30) days of delivery. We ask our retailers NOT to offer any SF factory seconds to end users via Quivers. Godin is not responsible for any transportation fees.
