A Canadian story where craftsmanship and innovation come together…

Fifty years ago, Robert Godin began handcrafting guitars in a small workshop in Québec, Canada. Since 1972, what started as a family business has grown into one of North America’s largest and most respected guitar manufacturers. We are deeply proud of our Canadian heritage, and we continue to build each of our guitars with the utmost care in our Québec factories—from the forest to the stage.

What truly sets Godin apart is our commitment to 100% Canadian-made instruments. Our necks and bodies are entirely crafted in La Patrie, Québec, before being assembled in our workshops in Princeville or Richmond. For retailers all over the world, this means you’re offering instruments that aren’t just of exceptional quality, but also carry the identity of Canada—a symbol of reliability and excellence.

Our product range is as diverse as the music styles we cover. Whether you’re looking for acoustic or electric guitars, Godin has you covered. Our acoustic guitars are renowned for their rich tone, projection, and playability. Brands like Seagull, Norman, Art & Lutherie, and Simon & Patrick offer a wide range of sounds, from traditional to modern, while remaining true to our Canadian roots. On the electric side, Godin is known for its innovative instruments, such as the Multiac—a nylon-string electric guitar that has become the go-to for jazz, classical, and world music musicians. Its amplification and versatility provide a unique stage experience, delivering exceptional performance no matter the style of music.

Unique by nature, our guitars are built to inspire, perform, and last. By choosing Godin, you’re supporting a Canadian company and a legacy of excellence that continues to shape the future of music.

Let’s keep showcasing Canadian-made instruments to the world, together.
