  1. This is a guitar that rivals the major USA makers. Buy Canadian

  2. Light on blank but heavy on quality. Good balanced sound. Very comfortable to play. I am impressed.

  3. very disappointed in my purchase of this guitar. B-E strings buzz a lot while playing

  4. Hello,

Thank you for reaching out and for sharing your concerns with us. I’m really sorry to hear that you’re experiencing buzzing on the B and E strings — I completely understand how frustrating this can be after receiving a new instrument.

May I ask if the guitar has been re-setup or adjusted since it arrived? Every guitar leaving our shop is carefully checked and adjusted, but because wood is a natural and living material, instruments can react differently once they travel to a new environment. The climate here in Québec — with its particular levels of temperature and humidity — is often very different from what you may have where you live, and these changes can sometimes cause neck movement, string height variation, or other small adjustments to become necessary.

The good news is that in most cases, a simple setup will easily correct string buzzing and bring the guitar back to its full potential. If you have already had it looked at, please let us know what adjustments were made. If not, we strongly recommend taking it to a trusted technician who can check the action, neck relief, and overall setup.

We truly want you to enjoy your guitar the way it was meant to be enjoyed, so please don’t hesitate to contact us directly at info@godinguitars.com with any details, and we will be happy to guide you further or explore the best solution together.

    Best regards,
