The Godin Motif takes its compact dimensions from turn-of-the-century parlor guitars. The compact body of the Motif suggests a ¾ size instrument but this is a full-scale guitar. There is more to the compact body style of the Motif than comfort, this is a serious guitar with many of the same features that professional guitarists look for in the best handcrafted instruments. The solid cedar top and Custom Polished finish ensure that this guitar will not only sound great when you first receive it but will actually become better sounding with playing over time.

J’ai acheté la guitare avant hier le 18 octobre 2025 , j’ai changé les cordes( savarez jaune ) à mon retour chez moi et le lentement buzz à la 4 ieme corde à la fret 2-3-4 et 5 ieme corde un peu . J’ai une ami nylon depuis 2017 , moitié prix avec un casé et aucun probleme . J’ai acheté 10 guitares classique dans ma vie et .. première fois ce probleme . Je vais retourner chez Steve music mardi car je suis 2 jours à Toronto . Le pire , je l’ai acheté pour mon voyage départ le 28 octobre … dans 9 jours et pour une durée de 6 mois . Un changement de corde et ça dérape et dans le sud à Playa del Carmen … c’est humide ! Je ne me voit pas avec cette guitare dans cette région et avoir des problèmes .

Bonjour,
Le changement de cordes, surtout en passant à un tirant différent comme les Savarez jaunes, modifie la tension exercée sur l’instrument. Dans ce cas, un réglage est toujours nécessaire. Le buzz que vous entendez n’est pas un défaut de la guitare, mais simplement la réaction normale de la table et du manche à cette nouvelle tension. Une fois ajustée, la guitare retrouvera une action propre et restera stable, même dans un environnement plus humide.
